Andrey Rublev is nearly unstoppable in 2020. The Russian won 13 of his 14 matches so far. At the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament he is on a roll once again. His most recent victim was Alexander Bublik: 7-6 6-3.
In his stunning start to the season Rublev won titles in Doha and Adelaide.
"It’s only the beginning of the season. You always have good weeks and bad weeks. I’ve had a surprisingly great start, but I know this streak can’t go on forever. In a couple of weeks everything can be different.”
In the quarter finals Rublev takes on the winner of the match between Vasek Pospisil and Filip Krajinovic. "This was only the second round and a strong opponent awaits. This is such a tough event, one of the best indoor events we have. There’s a long way to go before getting the title.”
